About

The 3DV Group

The 3DV (3D Vision) group conducts research on applied 3D vision systems, covering 3D capture and reconstruction, 3D Gaussian Splatting, stereoscopic video, and web-based and VR interfaces. Projects are carried out in collaboration with partners in healthcare, law, and education.

Virtual Reality

VR systems for training and planning tasks.

3D Gaussian Splatting

Reconstruction of real environments for real-time rendering.

Web-based 3D

3D tools that run in a browser without installation.

Stereoscopic 3D video

Capture of real people and places as stereoscopic video for VR.
